Chesterfield gas plant community and press briefing

In an attempt to sidestep county decision-makers, Dominion has just announced it will move the location of its controversial gas-fired power plant to the site of the Chesterfield Power Station (500 Coxendale Road).

Because of this change, Dominion is hosting several open houses on the project in September. This is an opportunity for the community to come together and demonstrate our unwavering opposition to the project, regardless of where it is located. 

Join Friends of Chesterfield and our allies from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hyatt Place Chester to gear up for Dominion's open house event from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. During our community briefing, we’ll share the latest developments on the project before heading next door to confront Dominion directly. This is our moment to ask tough questions, demand transparency, and hold them accountable for their plans to hike your electric bills and pollute our air. We'll have information, snacks, and t-shirts ready to fuel our fight!
